About Me
My tech journey started early, but it truly took shape in 1st year of university (2021) when I developed a strong foundation in C++ and honed my problem-solving skills through competitions.
By 2nd year (2022), I built my first Flutter app, a task manager for my sister whose a Principal at an elementary school where she used it to manage her office tasks, using local storage and Provider. That same year, I secured an internship at Micro Sun and Solutions, where I co-developed Digital Merkato, an e-commerce platform, and later led Ethio Chef, a widely used recipe-sharing app with over 200K users.
In 3rd year (2023), I joined Keteme IT - Pick Delivery , where I helped develop areal-time food delivery app Pick Delivery and a tracking dashboard used across Addis Ababa and Adama with over 50K users. And finally WellUp an AI-powered wellness companion providing tailored Ethiopian recipes and simplified exercise routines. Around this time, I also built the backend for a hierarchical reporting system for Lemi Kura Sub City, using Next.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma, and Nginx—a system I still maintain.
By 4th year (2024), I expanded into web development at Cross Light Africa, building and hosting websites like Development for Peace and Cross Light Africa's official site using React, Next.js, and TailwindCSS. My Senior Project focused on a crime reporting and management system, further strengthening my backend expertise.
In the same year after getting an internship at Lemi Kura Sub City Technology Department, I co-founded XYZ PLC with my friends and co-owners, a company specializing in building websites for businesses and government entities. As the Owner and Co-founder, I led several significant projects:
- Lemi Kura Sub City Official Website: Developed a comprehensive website with News, Employee, Event, and Vacancy Management systems.
- Prosperity Party Website at Lemi Kura Sub City: Created a platform to showcase the party's ideology and services.
- Lemi Kura Prosperity Party Reporting System: Developed a hierarchical reporting system for task and meeting management.
- SMANT Investment Group PLC Official Website: Designed and developed the official website for this private investment company.

Founded and lead Jonathan PLC, on fourth year we had to go on an apparentship and so my friends and I got accepted as interns at Lemi Kura Sub City Technology and so we had a very vast and broad idea of conquering the sub city technology which had limited status on tech and so we had to build systems to make the day-to-day tasks thus we created a company specializing in building websites for businesses and government entities.
